Matthew Ronay designed four Modal Modules (see here) as pop-up mini theaters, also known as “tunnel books,” for Three Star Books, intending them to serve as instruments for individual contemplation. These tunnel books feature elaborate designs and multiple layers of pages, meticulously laser-cut to Ronay's exact specifications and hand-colored with a diverse range of acrylic shades, creating mesmerizing visual encounters. During the presentation of the Four Modal Modules in our space, Ronay unveiled two sculptures that we were excited to showcase alongside them. These intricate sculptures bring an extra layer of depth to the presentation, highlighting the artist's sophistication.
